It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Lee Green of Mount Carmel, Illinois, born in Moweaqua, Illinois, who passed away on October 14, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Dean Green and Myrta Ellen Green (Baldwin); and his brother Larry Green. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Chapman; his children, Kathy Ann Alka (Jon) and Donald Lee Green (Susan); his grandchildren, Matthew A. Alka (Meredith), Steven L. Alka (Kiley), Ty A. Green, Julie A. Herman (Matthew), Nathan L. Green, Mariah L. Green and Makenzie P. Green; his great grandchildren, Lane R. Alka, Ava G. Alka, Jase M. Alka, Chloe A. Alka, Mason D. Alka, Reid A. Alka and Oaklynn A. Churchwell; and his sister Judy A. Herron (Wynn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
