With sadness, we share the passing of Rudy Lee Calvin of Mount Carmel, Illinois. Rudy, born on March 10, 1953, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Calvin and Rosie Jane Calvin (Smith); and his brother Harvey Jr. Calvin. He is survived by: his siblings, Harriet Jane Peterson, William Daryl Calvin, Cheryl L. Mitchell (Richard) and Vincent Douglas Calvin; his nieces and nephews, Tracey Peterson, William David Calvin, Tosha Baker (Mike), Trevor Mitchell, Shauna Wardrip (Robby) and Jamie Best; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Vash, Bishop Baker, Jayzale and Jaylon O'Neal; and his close friend Flora Williams.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Keepes Funeral Home (1500 N Cherry St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
