She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward and Grace Foshee (Hoffner); her husband Roy H. Walker; her son Douglas Lee Speedy; her brother Robert E. Foshee; her sister-in-law Roxie Hunter Foshee; her brother Danny Michael Foshee; her stepsons, John Walker and R. H. Walker; and her niece Becky Foshee Jackman.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Betty Marx Foshee; her niece Lynn Foshee Reed (Tim); her nephews, David Foshee (Marsha) and Jeff Foshee; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kate Jackman Fischer (Travis), Hana Reed Voight (Cody), Samantha Foshee, Lillian Foshee, Rob Jackman, Michael Reed (Carrie), David Reed, Aaron Foshee, John Foshee and Christian Foshee (Draven); her daughter-in-law Joy Walker; her grandchildren, Heather Walker Edwards (John), Matthew Walker and Brian Walker (Satie); and her friend Michelle Valentine. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Short-Cunningham Funeral Home (527 N Mulberry St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
