We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Shirley A. Goodson of Mount Carmel, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley J. Addis and Effie May Addis (Seibert); her former life partner Daniel "Dan" A. Goodson; her great grandchildren, Granger and Schwarzlose; and her aunt Goldie Seibert.

She is survived by : her husband Goodson Fruit Farm; her daughters, Patricia "Patti" Knox (Terry), Cynthia "Cindy" Walls (Jonny) and Donna Jackson (Jim); her grandchildren, Jonathan Knox (Heather), Michelle Hedge (Greg), Danielle Peach (Matt), Anna Schwarzlose (Aaron), Matt Jackson (Donnie), Nate Jackson and Jake Jackson (Tiffany); and her great grandchildren, Allison, Ashleigh, Abby Hedge, Piper, Kennedy, Ryder, Brittyn Knox, Ava Giese, Alivia, Halie, Anthony, Miley Peach, Elayna, Harper and Hazel Jackson.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home (1500 N Cherry St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's memory to Wabash Rally Against Cancer.
