He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo Kieffer and Agnes Kieffer (Tougaw); and his sisters, Carol Merriel and Ann Kight Miller. He is survived by : his wife JoAnn Peters; and his sons, Anthony Kieffer (Gloria) of Mt. Carmel, Jeff Kieffer (Goldie) of Allendale, Paul Kieffer (Misty) of Mt. Carmel and Joe Kieffer (Christy) of Browns, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or St. Mary's Catholic School, 125 W. 5th Street, Mt. Carmel, Illinois 62863.
