She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Allison and Addiebelle Allison (McKay); her husband Ellis Parrish; her daughter Sylvia Parrish; her sister Edna Kay McKinney; and her nephew Samuel "Sam" Gill.

She is survived by: her daughter Allison Parrish; her granddaughter Krystal Marie Parrish-Bennett (Matthew); her sister Hannah Sue Stout; and her nieces and nephews, Joseph Gill (Michele), Carl Gill (LeCosta), Patrick McKinney, Sheila Rupple (Steve) and Sheila Gill.
