She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Gibbs and Carole Gibbs (Braasch); her sister Roberta Shallenberger; and her great grandchild Everett Smith. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Garcia (Patrick) of Rockford, IL, Lori Vail (Harold) of Dixon and James Crawford (Naomi) of Como, MS; and her siblings, John Gibbs (Nancy) of Nisswa, MN and Patti Faber (Willie) of Kankakee, IL. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (416 S Dement Ave, Dixon, IL 61021).
