She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Rice; her parents, Harold Richter and Jessie Mae Richter; her brother J. C. Conyers; her sister-in-law Bobbie Jean Conyers; her sister Lorraine Stokes; her brother-in-law Russell Stokes; her sister Patricia Buchner; and her brother-in-law Richard Buchner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Greene (Alan) and Jody Rice-Wagner (Martin); her grandchildren, Krista Whaley (Evan) and Kevin Greene (Alexis); and her great grandchildren, Harper Whaley and Lillian Whaley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made in Carolyn's honor to Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, Illinois or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
