He is survived by: his wife Bertha DeLong; his daughters, Cindy Vermeis of Amboy, IL and Peggy Paulson (Michael) of Caledonia, IL; and his grandchildren, Gretchen, Rebecca Vermeis and Jordan Paulson (Jessica).
