He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bolen and Pearl Bolen; and his brother Howard. He is survived by: his wife Sheila (Nighswonger) of German Valley; his children, Tracy Bolen of Baytown, TX and Joshua Bolen (Stacey) of German Valley; his grandchildren, Amos, Anstina, Leo Bolen, Nick Izer (Kihana), Tiffany Francis (Mitchell) and Cheyenne Munroe (Cody); his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Dawson, Emerson and Myla; and his cousin Robert Bolen (June) of Manawa, WI.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Harvey's honor can be made to Serenity Hospice and Home, Wounded Warrior Project, or North Grove Evangelical Cemetery Association.
