It is with sadness that the passing of Jan Zimmerman of Mount Morris, Illinois is shared. Jan, born on January 20, 1940, passed away on July 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Leroy and Carol Maxine Brantner (Davis); and her brother Dennis Brantner. She is survived by: her daughters, Laurie Burnworth, Kim Swanson and Cindy Swanson; her grandchildren, Todd Schiro, Neil Finch, Sarah Goodin (Todd), Tracy Finch (Jon Hinton) and Cody Logan (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Brennan Finch, Chance Logan, Ava Tuttle, Callen White and Scarlett Logan; her brother Max Brantner (Nancy); her niece Amy Siotropos (Pete); and her nephew Aaron Brantner (Maria). She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Jan always fought for the "underdog" and even in her last years wanted to donate to Native American Schools.
