We announce the death of Laverne E Davis of Mount Morris, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Wagner and Mamie Wagner (Lane); her husband Wayne Bradley Davis; her children, David and DeAnna; and her sisters, Phyllis and Joyce.
She is survived by: her sons, Doug Davis and Dan Davis (Lora) of Marietta, GA; and her grandchildren, Brandon, Danielle, Aubrey, Oliver and Madelyn. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Morris Evangelical Free Church (102 S Seminary Ave, Mt Morris, IL 61054). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution for a memorial to the EFCMM in memory of Laverne Davis would be greatly appreciated.
