He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Duelm and Doretta Bertels Duelm (Dora); his brothers, Edwin, Delmar and Elden; his brother-in-law Elmer Pape; and his grandson Tyler Duelm.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Pape; his sons, Brian Duelm (Julie) and Brent Duelm (Laura); his grandchildren, Evelyn Duelm (Tia Spiller), Brock Duelm (Gina Wadas), Jessica Duelm and Jonathan Duelm; and his great grandchild Eleanor Duelm. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either Immanuel Lutheran Church or the Mt. Olive Academic Foundation.
