With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claudia Dianne Collins of Mount Olive, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2026 at the age of 71. In the sacred silence of farewell, Claudia is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph A. Lewis and Margie Lewis (Whitehead); her children, Jessi McCollum and Jason Collins; and her siblings, Connie Coursey and Alex Lewis.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd R. Collins of Mt. Olive, IL; her sons, Floyd R. Collins Jr. of Charleston, IL and Josh Collins of Mt. Olive, IL; and her sister Cathy Haverty of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
