With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Marilyn Vasel (Mount Olive, Illinois), who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Henry and Alvina Marie Buske (Weishaupt); her husband William "Bill" Meadows Vasel; and her brother Richard Lee Buske. She is survived by: her sons, Randolph Lee Vasel (Debra) of Greenville, Dwight David Vasel (Carol) of Ft Worth and Mark William Vasel (Judith) of Estes Park, Colorado; her grandchildren, Randalynn F. Vasel, Kyle W. Vasel (Melissa), Richard A. Vasel, John E. Vasel (Emily), Sally Vasel Cruz (A. J.), Emma Vasel Marquez (Chris), Katherine Vasel Hill (Brian), Amy Vasel Adams (Ben) and Meagan A. Vasel; and her brother Glen Allen Buske of Nashville, Tennessee.. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
