He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Karlovic and Velma Karlovic (Boston); his sister Mary Ann "Toots" Scheller; his brother-in-law Bud Scheller; and his niece Jolene Scheller.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Karlovic (Albers); his children, Eric Karlovic (Stacey) and Joyce Braasch; his grandchildren, Nicholas Braasch, Lily Braasch, Charlie Karlovic, Darby Braasch, Brooke Braasch and Henry Karlovic; his pets, Tramp, Bernie, Dolly, Hoss and Willie Nelson; and his friend Steve Augustine.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kids Café children's program at the Mount Olive Care Center or the Mount Olive Academic Foundation, causes Joe would quietly, and approvingly, endorse.
