With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Snyder of Mount Olive, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Snyder and Florence Snyder (Schwander); his siblings, Richard and Vicky; his granddaughter Abigail; and his pet Lilly.
He is survived by: his wife Sherian Snyder (Vincent); his children, David Korunka of Alhambra, IL, Karen Hough (David) of Oklahoma City, OK, Carrie Ruemmler (Matt) of Southern Pines, NC and Stephanie Elam (Jacob) of Troy, IL; his grandchildren, Jordan Garman (Nick), A. J. Jackson (Tori), Drew Hough, Grace Ruemmler, Cyle Korunka, Raegan Ruemmler, Alex Ruemmler, Josephine Elam and Levi Elam; his great grandchildren, Piper, Cooper, Hunter Garman, Jonathan and Eleanor Jackson; and his siblings, Shirley Korunka (Mick) and Dona Green (James) of Litchfield, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Gillespie/Benld Ambulance Service and the Mt. Olive Methodist Church.
