With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amalia Kovasznay of Mount Prospect, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Kovasznay; her sibling Ignaz Nickl (Anni); her parents, Anna Nickl and Stefan Nickl; her parents-in-law, Franz and Maria Kovasznay; and her brother-in-law Herbert Kovasznay.
She is survived by: her close friend Hans Schmitt; her daughters, Anita Tasher (Rick) and Tina Kovasznay; her grandchildren, Sofia, Joshua, Charlotte and Grace; her brother Franz Nickl (Erna); and her sister-in-law Anna Kovasznay.
