It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur R. Sternberg Jr. (Mount Prospect, Illinois), who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harold, Marilyn Sternberg and Mary Jayne McCarthy; and his great-grandparent Katherine King. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Nick, Danny, Lily, Joey, Alec and Emma; his parents, Arthur Sternberg and Patricia Sternberg of Des Plaines; and his sister Jennifer Riebock (Jacob).
A reception was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Matz Funeral Home (410 E Rand Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to help with the memorial costs.
