With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Audrey T. Jans (Mount Prospect, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Audrey may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her father Clarence Turek; her former husband Matthias Jans; and her husband Michael Schwass. She is survived by: her mother Arlene Turek; her brother Joseph Turek (Mary Beth); and her pets, Buck, Jake, Max and Boomer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Raymond de Penafort Church (301 S I Oka Ave, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
