He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie A. LaPaglia; his parents, Angeline Bonafede and Charles LaPaglia Sr.; his children, Annette M. Piper and James C. LaPaglia (Mary); his grandchildren, Kate Sapru (Tushar), Jessica Piper, Sean LaPaglia (Amanda) and Anthony LaPaglia; and his great grandchildren, Julian and Sage Sapru.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Lutheran Church (200 S Wille St, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A burial was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at the All Saints Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
