We announce the death of Charles Curtis Peterson (Mount Prospect, Illinois), who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 89. Charles will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; his brother Dale; his brother-in-law Jerry; his nephew Greg; and his parents, C. Willard Peterson (Bill) and Lois Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Peterson (Marcy) of Ogilvie, MN, Brian Peterson (Jan) of Muskegon, MI, Tim Peterson (Kari) of Aurora, CO, Sue Manlove (Matt) of Attleboro, MA and Kristi Lundblad (Jeff) of Mt. Prospect, IL; his grandchildren, Katie (Alex), Hunter (Mariah), Jonathan (Sophia), Abby (Seth), Bex (Rheanna), Megan, Andrew (Faith), Malin, Ashley, Claire, Ellie (Josh), Luke and Charlie; his great grandchildren, Nico and Emerald; his sisters-in-law, Jane Peterson and Joanne Wahlquist; and his nieces and nephews, Glenn (Bekah), Shanelle, Paul, Julie (Dan) and Joyce (Kelly).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Northwest Covenant Church (300 N Elmhurst Ave, Mt Prospect, IL 60056).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant Living of Northbrook Benevolence Fund or Covenant Harbor Bible Camp.
