He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mary Cosgrove (Jack), John (Anne), Bridie Corbett (Paddy), Margaret O'Brien (Peter), Kathleen Tierney (Paddy), Anne Coleman (Michael) and Barbara Glynn (Mike).

He is survived by: his wife Helena; his children, Kevin Conroy (Kelli), Barbara Jones (Scott), Brian Conroy and Theresa Jacobs (John); his grandchildren, Danny, Ethan Conroy (Natalie), Kersti, Sarah, Connor, Gavin Buckley, Devin Conroy and Grayson Jacobs; and his siblings, Mick (late Sara) and Padraig.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Colum welcomed to The Parkinsons Foundation http://parkinson.org.
