He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Pfingsten and Ella Pfingsten (Wilkening); his sisters, Lorna and Alice; his niece Patricia; and his nephew Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Busse (Busse); his children, Lori Garvey (Jim), Lynn Henricks (John) and Mike Pfingsten; his grandsons, James Garvey (Marisa), Michael Garvey, Nicholas Henricks and Connor Henricks; and his great grandchild James Garvey V. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
