He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Malszewski and Victoria Malszewski; his siblings, Leo Marshall and Helen Marshall; his nephew Leon Marshall; and his niece Donna Marshall.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Malszewski; his daughters, Christine Milota (Frank), Karen Franklin (Tim) and Cheryl Lardner (Phil); his grandchildren, Jeff Milota (Megan), Kevin Milota (Danielle), Tori Luke (Greg), Colin Franklin and Alli Andrews (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Maddie, Alex, Emily Milota, Jack, Elle Milota, Will, Cam Luke, Lottie, James and Oliver Edwin Andrews. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
