It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Nohelty of Mount Prospect, Illinois, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois E. Nichols and John L. Nichols; her husband Walter; her brother William; her uncle Otto Minshall (Charlotte); her aunt Velma Blunk (Clarence); her grandchild Fiona Fitzpatrick; her grandmother Kipling; and her sibling's child Ellyn Warner (John).
She is survived by: her family Elizabeth; her friend Dr. Sahar Rida; her grandchildren, Denver, Phoenix, Notre Dame, Sheboygan and Elkhorn of Washington, DC; her children, Kathy Walczak (Tom), Lori Stanger (Joe), Cindy Nohelty, Kerry Molina (Carlos), Mary Fitzpatrick (John), Kevin Nohelty (Adreain) and Sean Nohelty; her grandchildren, Kay Davis (Josh), Nicholas Stanger (Tristine), Jack Nohelty, Sarah Stanger, Karter Fitzpatrick, Joseph Stanger, Mackenzie Molina, Maggie Fitzpatrick and Maeve Molina; her sister Barbara Frisbie (Barry); and her nieces, Ann Sieveke (Andrew) and Kimberly Frisbie.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Friedrichs Funeral Home (320 W Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A prayer was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Emily Parish (1400 E Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). If the pandemic had not occurred, she would have continued working longer as her work brought so much joy.
