It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elwood G Bahr of Mount Prospect, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Bahr; his parents, Henry Bahr and Violet Bahr; his sister Lucille Packcard; his siblings-in-law, Jane Stroder, Don Stroder and Robert Packard; and his nephews, Craig Stroder and Scott Packard.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Erik Stroder (Jess), Michael Witt (Ashley), Wesley Stroder, Connie Kincaide (Ryan), Walter Stroder (Sabrina), Elizabeth Ogden (James), Rachael and Hanna Packard; Steve Packard (Kim), Mark Stroder (Susan), Donna Stroder (late Craig Stroder) and Lisa Witt (Kevin). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Friedrichs Funeral Home, Inc. (320 W Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 100 S. School Street, Mount Prospect IL 60056 are greatly appreciated by the family.
