He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcin Gierusz and Genowefa Gierusz; and his brother Jim Gierusz. He is survived by: his children, Michael T. Gierusz and Jennifer Gierusz (Gerald Losievsky); his granddaughter Genevieve; his sister Stella Kujazewski; his goddaughter Joanne Fricana; his niece Sandy Selakovich; and his pet Pixie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Glueckert Funeral Home (1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society in honor of Eugene.
