The passing of Irene Bahnmaier of Mount Prospect, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 93. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Irene leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Emil; and her parents, Irene and Joseph. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Krzywda, Sara Bahnmaier, Maria Karkos, Kristen Marzolf and Kurt Bahnmaier. She is also survived by ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Zachary Church (567 W Algonquin Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Irene to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance (colorectalcancer.org) or the American Cancer Society (cancer.org).
