He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Thomas and Bernice O'Rourke Thomas of Mount Prospect; and his sister Carol. He is survived by: his children, Laurie Steinborn (Jerry), Philip Thomas (Ronda), Jeffrey Thomas, Julie Parrino (Louis) and Glenn; his grandchildren, Cortney Meyer (Samuel), Codi Steinborn, Shane Thomas, Makaila Thomas, Ashley Thomas, Amanda Ugintas (Karolis), Alec Thomas, Lindsay Parrino, Louis Parrino and Jennifer Parrino; his great grandchildren, Elle Meyer, Brooks Meyer, Lucas Ugintas and Amelia Ugintas; his niece Claudia Owens; and also Linda (Noonan).
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friedrichs Funeral Home (320 W Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
