She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Fitzgerald; and her brother Bill McKee. She is survived by: her daughter Maureen Fitzgerald; her brother Jack McKee; and her grandchildren, David Chavis, Jared Chavis (Chloe), Adrianna Chavis, Sterling Chavis Jr. and Crystal.
She was a parishioner of St. Emily's Catholic Church, and an active member of St. Emily's Gems, a social organization of senior citizens in the community, supporting the parish, donating to the local food bank, playing bingo and taking trips together.
