He is survived by: his wife Elaine Schiro; his son Joseph Jr. (Florentina); his grandchildren, Joseph III (Lauren), Vinnie and Mimi; his great grandchildren, Capri and Isla; his brother Thomas (Lupe); and his nephews, Christopher and Michael. He is also survived by his many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooney Funeral Home (625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Raymond Church (301 S I Oka Ave, Mt Prospect, IL 60056).
