He was predeceased by: his spouse Lauren Starr; and his parents, Joseph Starr and Marilyn Starr. He is survived by: his son Joseph F. Starr III; his grandchildren, Hannah Hancock Joseph (Jacob), Starr IV and Hailey Starr; and his siblings, Daniel Starr (Kim) and Bridget Starr (Hodgie Teichmann).
