She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. William Ewing and Francis Ewing; her brothers, William Ewing and Dr. Charles Ewing; and her husband Carl Fuerst.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Struck (Gary) of Palatine, Illinois, David Fuerst (Gail) of Texas and Jeffrey Fuerst (Daiva) of Arlington Heights, Illinois.. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
