She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert and Marguerite; and her siblings, Cynthia Soph (late Wayne), Susan Luebke (William), Margaret Erwin (late Thomas) and Joseph Boettcher.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Malek and Karen Day; and her siblings, Walter Boettcher, Elizabeth Bielanski (William), Theresa Cordes (Richard), Paul Boettcher (Mary), Geralyn Walsh (Kevin), Mary Tambeaux (Mark) and Annie Boettcher (Lisa Hempen). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
