Linda L. Mauritzen Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Linda L. Mauritzen of Mount Prospect, Illinois is shared. Linda, born on June 5, 1943, passed away on September 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Linda will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Linda by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Linda is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Linda’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Harry Mauritzen; her children, Michelle Mauritzen and Jeffrey Mauritzen (Mandy); her grandchildren, Brittany Rebenstorf (Colin) and Lindsey Mauritzen; her sibling Jerry Banks (Sally); and her brother-in-law Ken Mauritzen.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Raymond de Penafort Church (301 S I Oka Ave, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Center for Dementia Research or the Dementia Society of America.
