She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Rizner and Mary Rizner; and her husband Donald B. Herweg. She is survived by: her children, Daniel, Donna Bacon, Deborah Fitzgerald, Donald R. (Bonny) and Douglas (Donna); her grandchildren, Patrick Bacon (Talissa), Cynthia Springer (Scott), Jackie Bacon, Pattie Klingler (Pete), Donald L. Herweg, Dakota Herweg and Josef Herweg; and her great grandchildren, Janiyah, Jordyn, Jayce, Jaelani, Aleena and Chandler.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St Emily Catholic Church (1400 E Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056-2650). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cemetery Chapel (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
