She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hassel and Clara Huber; her sister Alberta Hassel; and her son Alan Virant. She is survived by: her husband Ed Virant; her daughters, Elaine Virant (Paul Farrell) and Lisa Folk Elliott (Tucker Elliott); her grandchildren, Cailey, Evan Farrell, Anita, Garrison Shubert and Clara Farrell; and her siblings, Dick, James, David, Mark Hassel, Connie Riedel, Kathy Urig and Marcia Hassel.
