Nick leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Nick’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Nick will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Caterina Gallo (DiBenedetto) and Domenico Gallo; and his sister Ada DeFilippis (late Erminio Raimondo). He is survived by: his spouse Angelamaria (Mancini); and his sons, Dominick and Anthony Gallo.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the State Tuesday (301 S I Oka Ave, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
