He is survived by: his wife Janice Pontrelli; his sons, Patrick Pontrelli Jr. and Frank Pontrelli; his stepdaughters, Pamela Frenden (Dave), Sharon Lichtenberger (late Aaron), Karen Dzibinski (Jeff) and Trisha Ullrich (Bernie); his brothers, John Pontrelli (Barbara) and Ronnie Chimel (late Kenny); his nephews, Mike Pontrelli (Amanda), Steve Pontrelli and Kenny; his niece Tiffany; his grandchildren, Jenna, Riley, Alexis, Sarah, Matthew (Valeria), Katrina (Brandon), Samantha, Ryan (Sarah), Luke (Chelsea), Kelsey (Trajan), Brooklyn and Jack; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Jake, Blake, Madison, Haidyn, Elijah, Andi, Chiara and Sullivan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Community Parish and Academy (2515 W Palatine Rd, Inverness, IL 60067).
