He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Obinger and Neabys Obinger; his wife Carol; his sister Sharon; and his son Dale.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ariel, Barbara and Ben (Donna); his children, Cheryl Peterson (Gary) and Todd Obinger (Barbara); his daughter-in-law Diana Obinger; his grandchildren, Candice Edinger (Mark), Chad Peterson, Brooke Peterson, Blake Peterson (Courtney), Eric Obinger (Chelsea), Heather Obinger (Cameron), Hollan Obinger and Jorgen Obinger; and his great grandchildren, Annika Edinger, Ellie Edinger, Brianna Edinger, Eden Edinger, Ashlynn Peterson, Ezekiel Peterson, Micaiah Peterson, Adalyn Obinger and Rowan Obinger.
