It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Preusen (Mount Prospect, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his former wife Lia Preusen-Schuch; his children, Kristin Pugliese (Daniel) and Scott Preusen (Appi); his grandchildren, Olivia Lee (Adam), Amanda, Daniel, Ericka, Ashton, Sofia and Grayson; his brothers, James Preusen and David Preusen (Carol); and his pet Gus.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Friedrichs Funeral Home (320 W Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
