With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard T. Mortensen (Mount Prospect, Illinois), who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Mortensen and Catherine Mortensen (Coleman); and his siblings, Emil Jr., Martin, Dorthy (Schroll), Charlotte, June and Eileen (Roberts).

He is survived by: his wife Joanne Busse; and his sister Virginia.
