He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Towell and Marcella Towell (Fitzgerald); his wife Elaine Ficht; his son David; and his siblings, Betty, Jimmy, Rita, Judy, Kay and Peggy.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Andrew Robert, Benjamin Robert, Ethan Edward, Olivia Elaine and Adam James; his children, Mary Beth Benedict (James) and Daniel Towell (Michelle); and his brothers, Bill and Roger.
