With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosalia R. De La Rosa (Mount Prospect, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 24, 2025 at the age of 102. She was predeceased by: her son Eleuterio Moreno Jr. (Minerva Santa); her granddaughter Laura Elena Rico; her siblings, Jorge, Bruno (Lupe), Antonio (Jenny), Jovita, Jose Carmen, Arturo (Maria Luisa) and Maria Reyna; her cousin Enrique "Henry" (Francisca "Pachita" Vasquez); her nephews, Tony Jr. and Arthur Ramos; her parents, Bruno Ramos Villafaña and Maria Placida Cendejas Valdéz; and her grandmother Rosalia Valdez Reyna.

She is survived by: her children, Jesus Rico Ramos (late Arcelia Razo Chavez), Rosa Maria "Rosemary" Johnson (Kristian), Raquel "Rachel" Carr (Danny), Roberto "Robert" Moreno and Reina Moreno (Irma); her grandchildren, Antonio Rico, Jorge Alberto Rico, Jovita Miller (Brian Pappas), Conrad, Douglas Johnson, Laura Osorio, Hector "Tito" Gerena (Anna), Gabriel Gerena, Rosalia "Rossy" Gerena, Gloria "Glory" Moreno, Robert E. "Bobby" Moreno, Alicia Smith, Minerva "Minnie" Hulsart (Denny) and Miriam Colon (Richard); her nieces and nephews, John Sanchez, Delores Sanchez, Alice Ceja, Bruno Ramos (Janet), Phillip (Sara), Rosalinda Olivares (Albert), Sara Ramos and Linda Sienkowski (Tony); her siblings, Marco and Bellartura Ramos; her friend Lucille Major; and her husband Joseph "Pepe" De.
