Sonia Raymer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia Raymer of Mount Prospect, Illinois, who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sonia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sonia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Justo Aviles Rosa and Carlotta Echevarria Figueroa; her husband Manny; and her siblings, Gladys, Judith, Gloria and Jimmy (Rachel).
She is survived by: her children, Emmanuel, Susan (Robert) and Eric (Wendy); and her sister Arminda Cruz (Francisco).
Memorials may be given to the Cancer Research Institute (https://give.cancerresearch.org) in memory of Sonia Raymer to support a future cure for Ovarian Cancer.
