We announce the death of Thomas M. Johnson (Mount Prospect, Illinois), who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 91. Thomas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his daughter Brenda Heuer; and his wife Sandra. He is survived by: his children, Kim Perlich (Hans), Mark Heuer (Ellen), Tia Potocki (Dave), Scott Johnson (Pok Ling) and Kirk Johnson (Kellie); his grandchildren, Bryan Phillippi (Cherise), Brett Heuer and Evelyn Johnson; his great grandchildren, Declan and Cohen Phillippi; and his siblings, Mary Sherman and Jerry Johnson (Jane).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Lutheran Church (200 S Wille St, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, gift donations can be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
