He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Earl and Frances Bradbury Edlin; his wife Helen Joyce Dunbar; his son Michael Edlin; and his sisters, Janet Thomas and Shirley Bean.
He is survived by: his children, Marcia L. Edlin-Orsburn (Adrian) of Versailles and Mark Edlin (Tina) of Mt. Sterling, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Meghan Ham (Jason), Melissa Edlin, Tara Edlin, Ryan Edlin, Evan Edlin (Cheyenne) and Curtis Edlin (Miu); his great grandchildren, Charles Ham, Mylee Crow, Tucker Edlin, Maddison Edlin and Leon Edlin; and his brothers, Butch Edlin (Marianne) of Rushville and Bobby Edlin (Darlene) of Versailles.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hendricker Funeral Home (406 S Capitol Ave, Mt Sterling, IL 62353). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the Cooperstown Cemetery (1635 CH 12).
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
