Elza Collins Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Elza Collins of Mount Sterling, Illinois. Elza, born on November 27, 1948, passed away on June 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Faye Ola Taber Collins and Elmer Collins; his brothers, Bill Collins, Donald Collins, Elmer R. Collins and Gerald Collins; his siblings-in-law, Ed Kemper and Frances Collins; and his sons-in-law, Curtis Large and Todd Stambaugh.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Collins; his children, Brett Bemis (Dawn), Krystal Roan (Roger), Scott Bemis (Donna), Tammy Large, Patricia Forster, Kay Powell (Rex), Kathy Davis (David), Jessica Collins and David Collins (Lisa); his sisters, Shirley Kemper, Anna Goudschoal, Sharon Hillyer (Dennis) and Judy Phelps (Robert); and his sisters-in-law, Bobbie Collins and Freda Collins. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
