The memory of Jerry L. Schroder of Mount Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on March 22, 2026 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schroder and Lilly Schroder (Kling); his wife Josephine Bryant; and his siblings, Imogene, John and Roy.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Pate (John), Tonja Lang and James Schroder; his siblings, Wanda Webster, Joan Dennison, Jan Schroder and Jay Schroder; and his pet Red. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Quincy Park District Heritage Tree Program, which will plant trees in Quincy in honor of Jerry.
